Southern parts of India make it a point to visit some of the finest tourist destinations like Chennai visiting its museum, Vandalur zoo, St. Basilica’s church, marina beach, Vivekananda house, lighthouse and other places. There are lots of interesting spots like Auroville, Aurobindo Ashram, Temples, park, French museum and expansive beach which will keep the tourists happy round the clock. People who stay in Pondy will love the peaceful atmosphere and aura that is prevailing in this city. Mysore is a wonderful district, which has Mysore maharaja palace and other interesting tourist spots. Palaces of Mysore and Bangalore are the unique treasures of the South India tour.

A vast spread of culture and heritage is found in India. The best presentation can be seen in the South Indian states. There are colourful and magnificent monuments built by the rulers of that area. The people are well educated as the literacy rate is high. You can see local women wearing colourful sari and men draping lungi. These are traditional dresses of the region.

Luxury Escapes Vacations By Tours Zoo will allow you to enjoy modern cities and hill stations with modern facilities alike. Though there are many local languages you do not have to worry, there will be an English speaking guide with you wherever needed. You can enjoy the tea gardens in Ooty and see tea being made right from a leaf to your cup, only it is not Darjeeling tea, it is Nilgiri tea. The environment is so romantic, have some quality time with your loved ones. The route to Mysuru and Bangaluru are also worth remembering. The landscape is amazing it has a hint of blue to the greenery around.

When you book one of the Luxury South India tour Packages, it will include visiting places like Vivekananda house in Chennai along with beaches and Basilica. In the tour, you will be visiting temples as well as Churches. The southern part of India was ruled by the Britishers for quite some time so there are many English style Basilicas. There are devotees at both temples and churches.

The Bangaluru palace and Mysuru palace are unique in the designing and architecture form the rest of the country. These were built by the ruler Tipu Sultan, native of that place. Also in the close vicinity, there are famous temples, sacred to Indians. You can also visit them and feel enlightened and see the beautiful paintings and statues of gods and goddesses.

While in Puducherry you will feel the french architecture almost influencing each part of the city. It was a dutch and french colony for a long time. You can still get good bakeries around the corner. Also, one special place you must visit is Auro Villa, a golden globe. A place for meditation and spirituality; built by the Sri Aurobindo Society. All these places will be covered in your South India Holidays. So go on and book one for yourself and family.

How many people will be on my trip?
Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips you’ll be part of an intimate group of 12-16 people, though our group sizes are on average 10 people. Our Overland trips are in purpose-built vehicles that can carry up to 24 travellers. Group sizes are displayed on each trip’s overview page on our website.
Can I just do part of the trip?
Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or so earlier. If you let us know before travel that you’ll be arriving late or need to leave before the trips ends, we will notify our team on the ground to best accommodate your requirements.

what a deal

From beginning to end my wife and I have enjoyed this Indian experience. The driver and porter made travelling safe and comfortable. Our tour guide gave informative and knowledgeable detail of the sites we visited in your country. His English was easy to understand and he always gave clear and concise directions and well thought out timings. Manjit has an easy going nature towards the customer and would go the extra distance to provide a better customer experience. We would highly recommend this tour to future travelers to India.
