General FAQs

  • How many people will be on my trip?

Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips, you’ll be part of an intimate group of 12-16 people, though our group sizes are on average 10 people. Our Overland trips are in purpose-built vehicles that can carry up to 24 travelers. Group sizes are displayed on each trip’s overview page on our website.

  • Can I just do part of the trip?

Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or so earlier. If you let us know before travel that you’ll be arriving late or need to leave before the end of the trip, we will notify our team on the ground to best accommodate your requirements.

We ejoyed our kerela experience a lot. Flora and fauna was so beautiful in the national park and We had a wonderful yoga session during our stay in kumarkom. Got up early and enjoyed the session. Had a massage as well and it was well worth it!.
In Cochin we had a great guide Sam. He did a great job with his explanations of history and consideration.

  • Penelope Somerville says:

We experienced the wonderful sights, sounds, smells, culture & amazing history of Kerela & especially that conservative national park. Our guide Manu was informative, friendly & knowledgeable & this company conducted this well planned tour in an efficient manner. We enjoyed the tour immensely. Thank you!

  • Jacqueline Brown says:

Everything was great on our tour but the houseboat was not good at all. We stayed for one night in the houseboat. The houseboat itself was nice but the backwaters suck because of some following reasons:
    1. There are 100’s or maybe 1000’s of houseboats in the limited areas of the backwaters where the houseboats operate. So it is very crowded out there.
    2. You cannot sit outside in houseboat after 6pm because of mosquitoes.
    3. The water is not clean as villagers use it for their daily chores and houseboat operates dump their stuff in the water too.

  • Debra Cutting says:

No major complaints hotels very good. loved that yoga session and massage. Guides were excellent in thekkady and cochin. The driver was good, class assistant and very helpful “alll in all great trip”

  • Louigi Barbero says:

I definitely would recommend this tour. Thanks and keep it up.
