DAY 01 : ARRIVAL DELHI
On Arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted & provided with warm assistance by our representatives to get transferred to the hotel. Check in overnight at hotel and refresh yourself before a wonderful expedition in our able company.
DAY 02 : IN DELHI
After having breakfast proceed for a full day city tour of Delhi, the capital city of India. We’ll start the tour by going to Mughal Empire’s creation including Red Fort, Jama Masjid- the largest mosque in India. For getting the proper and true feel of Delhi the next place to hop at is Chandni chowk, Delhi’s most crowded and chirping market. Followed by visting Raj Ghat to pay tribute to the father of nation Mahatma Gandhi as it is the place where he was cremated. After this we’ll head towards Laxmi Narayan Temple which is famous for its design and beauty. And this brings us to pride of India- the India gate, 42 meters tall triumph is a war memorial, bearing the name of 85k soldiers who martyred in WW1. Drive past the palace of head of the nation the President’s home i.e. Rashtrapati Bhawan a mix of both mughal and western architecture. Further we’ll visit Qutub Minar- the tallest monument of India is actually 72.5 meter tall with measures as 2.75 m in diameter at its peak, to 14.32 m at its base. Back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 03 : DELHI - HARIDWAR
Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel and leave by surface for Haridwar, Haridwar one of the ancient city and an important Hindu pilgrimage place known for holy river Ganges. Visit this temple city of Hardwar and travel around the ancient temples, ashrams and Dharamshalas (pilgrim rest houses) that line the river banks and city centre. Visit the largest of several sacred ghats (bathing steps) Har Ki Pauri which also witnesses Ganga Aarti ( river-worshiping ceremony) in which hundreds and thousands of flickering lamps are floated off the steps. on arrival check-in at Hotel. DAY 04 : HARIDWAR - RISHIKESH - DELHI
Morning you may like to spend 01 hour with astrologer (as an optional) to discover your future, love, fortune, lucky number, compatibility with your life partner, zodiac signs and so on. Later drive to Rishikesh – also known as the ‘place of sages’ and the Yoga capital of the world as there are various ashrams and Yoga all around. The town is on the banks of the Ganges and is surrounded by the forested hills is conducive to meditation and mind expansion. In Rishikesh visit Laxman Jhula- a hanging bridge on the river Ganga is one of the most famous spot in Rishikesh. According to Indian mythology, Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama crossed the Ganga with the help of hanging bridge made of Jute. The bridge offers a scenic view of the river Ganga as it tumbles down to Haridwar. Also visit the Bharat Mandir one of the oldest temple in Rishikesh, near the Triveni Ghat. This temple is dedicated to Bharat, the younger brother of Lord Ram. Proceed to Delhi and on arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05 : DELHI – MATHURA – AGRA
Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel and leave by surface for Agra, home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World. En-route visiting Lord Krishna’s birthplace on the banks of River Yamuna before making your way to Agra. See the most revered Krishna Janam Bhoomi Mandir, most revered temple of Lord Krishna. Continue drive to Agra city of world famous Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Sikandra tomb are now at touching distance awaiting your fervor. Check in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06 : AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR
Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel and start the sightseeing you have been waiting for. The tour to Agra starts conspicuously with a visit to the incomparable Taj Mahal. Get mesmerized by one of Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal; an eternal symbol of love built by Shahjahan in memory of his dearly loved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Agra Fort, the next stop that has haunting memory of Shah Jahan kept in captivity by his son Aurangzeb is a symbol of Mughal magnificence and grandeur. ( Taj Mahal remain closed on every Friday ) Later depart by surface to Jaipur with visiting en-route the deserted red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by Akbar. It’s also worth awhile to visit other historically significant monuments namely Buland Darwaza, Birbal’s House, Panch Mahal and Jama Masjid. Proceed to Jaipur and on arrival check-in at Hotel. Pink city Jaipur, once the stronghold of Jaipur of a clan of rulers is now known as the majestic city that has earned the title of “Pink city” owing to the large use of pink marble. Chance upon buying exclusive pottery, embroidered leather shoes after catch a glimpse of several attractions. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 07 : PINK CITY IN JAIPUR
Morning excursion in Amber fort which is located 11 km from Jaipur. The classic fort represents the Kachhwaha clan of Amber. Beauty of the fort grows manifold once its reflection falls on the Maota thereby making it a delightful hallucination for eyes. Afternoon tour starts with visiting City Palace, representation of mighty Mughal and Rajput legacy and extravagance; Jantar Mantar, best preserved observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh. Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds, Jaigarh fort, Birla mandir and Sisodia Rani ka Bagh are the other major attractions. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08 : JAIPUR - MUMBAI
Board flight for Mumbai in time, transport is available to the airport so you can reach the airport on time. When we arrive the Mumbai airport meet the professionals provided by Indian Travel Agent representatives. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 09 : IN MUMBAI
After having your breakfast The day at dream city of India, Mumbai begins. We’ll start by visiting the Gateway of India which is built in the 20th century showing a wonderful Scottish architecture is one of the best places to visit in Mumbai city. Will continue the trip by drive past the marine drive and visiting The prince of Wales museum, the Victoria Terminus and Dhobi Ghats for knowing the local culture of Mumbai. Mumbai has a great list of tourist places and next locations we’ll see sights are Haji Ali Dargah and Girgaum Chowpatty. One of the most famous ganesha temples in the whole India is Siddhivinayak temple known for its spiritual and beautiful values. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 10 : DEPART MUMBAI
After having breakfast you’ll proceed to airport for your onward travel destination. A 10 days beautiful long journey to the all the glamorous and wonderful cities of the country has brought us to our final destination of this trip. But We assure you our services will make every possible step to reach your home safely and comfortably hence our representative will make sure to take you to the airport in time for your flight. How many people will be on my trip?
Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips you’ll be part of an intimate group of 12-16 people, though our group sizes are on average 10 people. Our Overland trips are in purpose-built vehicles that can carry up to 24 travellers. Group sizes are displayed on each trip’s overview page on our website.
Can I just do part of the trip?
Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or so earlier. If you let us know before travel that you’ll be arriving late or need to leave before the trips ends, we will notify our team on the ground to best accommodate your requirements.
